Monica finds that Ben cries whenever she holds him, to the amusement of Chandler and Joey. She worries that her own child won't like her. Ross has a reaction to Kiwi fruit in some of Monica's cookery, his throat starts to swell, and she has to take him to hospital. Joey and Chandler offer to look after Ben. Phoebe sings The Shower Song in Central Perk, but Terry has hired a professional musician, Stephanie, to replace her, and wants Rachel to tell her. Joey's idea of using Ben to attract women (demonstrating their sensitive and caring nature) backfires when they think he and Chandler are gay. Rachel tells Phoebe about Stephanie, but Phoebe then misunderstands when Terry agrees to let her stay, thinking she'll get paid as well. Ross is scared of having an injection, and has to squeeze Monica's hand. Chandler and Joey find two more women to entice, but are so engrossed in them that they accidentally leave Ben on a bus. Ross has his voice back, but Monica's hand is punctured because it was squeezed so hard. Phoebe meets Stephanie, who then performs, while Phoebe sings The Protest Song out in the street. Chandler and Joey go to collect Ben from the Department of Health (or something) but as they can't remember what he looks like, they have to toss a coin. Rachel sits with Phoebe, who doesn't like playing for money, outside Central Perk. Monica and Ross reminisce about what they did to each other during their childhood. Chandler and Joey return with the baby, and are concerned at first that they have the wrong one when it seems to like Monica. Ross sees Ben's nappy which says "property of human services."
end credits: Phoebe and Stephanie perform a duet of Smelly Cat
