Chandler and Joey are embarrassed by Carol breast-feeding Ben, so Ross makes them ask her questions about it. Monica agrees to go shopping with Julie at Bloomingdale's, Rachel's favourite store, despite warnings from the others that Rachel will "kill her like a dog in the street". Joey has some competition at work from The Hombre Man, a rival perfume salesman, who also competes with him for the affections of Annabel, another worker. Monica gets Phoebe to cover for her with Rachel over her shopping trip with Julie, but Rachel is still suspicious. Phoebe and Joey taste Carol's breast milk while preparing it, and Ross, Rachel and Chandler are horrified. Rachel finds out that Monica and Julie went to lunch, and even worse that they went to Bloomingdale's. The Hombre Man has been so successful that Joey is transferred to Hombre as well, and gets his own cowboy outfit. Rachel thinks Julie is stealing Monica as well as Ross. Joey and The Hombre Man have a shootout, and when The Hombre Man sprays perfume in an man's face, Joey keeps his job and gets the girl. Rachel tries to be friendly to Julie, after promising to do so in a very emotional scene with Monica.
end credits: Ross finally tries the breast milk.
