Rachel receives a magazine announcing engagements from her mother which features Barry and Mindy, and is upset by it. Ross thinks that she will find what she wants- that is someone who can be a best friend and a passionate lover. Rachel agrees to baby-sit Marcel for a day, and Ross decides to take a bottle of wine along in the evening and try to "woo her." During the day Rachel opens the door to the flat and Marcel escapes. Phoebe, Monica, Chandler and Joey help to search the building. Ross arrives with wine but Rachel confesses that she's lost his monkey and he's mad at her. Ross gets even more upset he finds that Rachel called Animal Control, as Marcel is an illegal exotic animal and he (Ross) could go to jail. Luisa from Animal Control arrives, and it turns out she was at high school with Monica and Rachel, and they were nasty to her, especially Rachel. Chandler and Joey meet two beautiful girls in one of the buildings' flats. Monica and Phoebe find Marcel, but when Luisa tries to shoot Marcel with a tranquillizer dart, Phoebe jumps in the way and gets shot in a buttock. Marcel escapes and is lost again, but Mr Heckles creates suspicion by ordering a crate of bananas, and Ross finds that he has Marcel in a pink dress. Luisa captures Marcel, and won't respond to Rachels' pleading with her not to take him away from her friend because of what she and Monica did to Luisa, so Rachel successfully resorts to blackmail, and threatens to call Luisa's supervisor and say that she shot Phoebe in the ass. Ross forgives Rachel for the whole business, and tries to create a romantic atmosphere so they can have the wine, but Barry bursts in and says he's still in love with Rachel.
