Someone with a telescope is watching the girls' apartment, much to everyone's annoyance. But they're still spying on poor Ugly Naked Guy. Chandler went on a date with Danielle, but won't call her because he doesn't want to seem needy. Rachel goes out with Barry and has a good time, but after being chastised by the others she agrees to end it and goes back to see him, but they end up having sex on his dentists chair. Chandler calls Danielle, and leaves a pathetic message which took him half a day to write, on her answering machine. The guy with a telescope is still at it. Danielle hasn't called back, and Monica realises that Rachel's encounter with Barry did not go entirely as planned when she sees that Rachel has dental floss in her hair. Mindy phones Rachel and says she wants to see her. Rachel calls Barry straight away and Mindy answers the phone. Chandler phones Danielle and she says she'll call him back. Mindy comes to Central Perk and talks to Rachel. Joey has the name of the peeper, but it transpires that Sam is a girl. Rachel and Mindy go to see Barry and break up with him, but Mindy says she will probably still marry him, because she wants to be a doctor's wife.
end credits: Danielle comes to Central Perk to see Chandler, and he's not sure whether to go out with her again, as he thinks she seems needy.
best bit: Joey enjoys himself watching Rachel and Mindy, than Rachel and Monica hugging.
