Carol tells Ross she is pregnant. Monica annoys everyone tidying the flat to prepare for her's and Ross's parents visit, Ugly Naked Guy provides some light relief with his thighmaster. Rachel loses her engagement ring, which turns up in Monica's lasagna.
Jack and Judy Geller come to dinner. Judy lays into Monica with patronising and snide remarks about her life. Monica unsuccessfully tries to change the subject by making Ross tell them about Carol being a pregnant lesbian.
Ross and Rachel are left alone in Central Perk after the others have left, she wonders how things got so complicated with her and Barry, and Ross and Carol. Ross is clearly in love with Rachel.
Next day Ross goes to the hospital, where Carol has gone for an ultrasound scan. He argues with Carol and Susan about the baby's name, which could end up as Helen Willick-Bunch-Geller, but they forget their differences when they see the baby.
Rachel goes to see Barry to give back the ring, expecting him to be miserable, but finds out he went on their honeymoon with Mindy, her maid of honour and is glad that Rachel left him.
