When it was first broadcast in 1994 Friends
became a worldwide phenomenon almost straightaway. It's about six twenty-somethings
who live in New York City, all flawed in some way,
and all hopeless with relationships, but as the song goes, they're there for one another.
It's become so successful because as well as being a great comedy series with fine acting and comic timing, it's also very sophisticated, with a lot going on underneath. This site is a tribute to it.
