Hope Floats, Sandy's next movie, (a comedy directed by
Forest Whitaker) began shooting in Austin, Texas in May, and has now finished,
although she still lives there in a ranch she has purchased."I just fell
for the whole Texan thing."
She moved out of LA in an attempt to reduce her profile."I don't want to
be in front of the camera all the time."Her close friend Matthew
McConaughey is currently shooting nearby.
Despite her outgoing personality Sandra is essentially a very private person.
Sandra's new movie, Hope Floats, has been released.

Magic -starts shooting in January. This movie is about three
witches
Exactly 3:30 about a woman whose
lateness is on the verge of permanently alienating her fiancé. She hires
a psychiatrist to help her get over this and get her to her wedding on time.
She then falls in love with her shrink. Sandra will also produce this movie,
for Touchstone Pictures.

Superman Lives First I heard Lois
Lane was to be played by Sandy, then by Courteney Cox. The present favourite
seems to be Linda Fiorentino. We can only hope about this, although Patrick
McGoohan had the right idea in A Time To Kill, calling her Lois Lane, perhaps a
sign of things to come. Nic Cage will play Superman. Warner Bros.
There are all sorts of rumours about her being in the
next Batman movie, the new Indiana Jones movie, a remake of A Fantastic Voyage,
and a remake of Some Like It Hot, playing Marylin Monroe's character.

Tate Donovan, who dated Sandy for three years and is now engaged to Jennifer Aniston, is the voice of Hercules in the Disney movie of the same name.
Whatever she appeard in next, let's hope it's better than Speed2. This film is so bad that I haven't even seen it. Of course this wasn't Sandy's fault. She should never have appeared in this film, and only did so because she felt she owed Jan De Bont after the success of the original.

Do they hate each other, well rumours that Sandy trashed Jennifer's apartment after she started dating Sandy's ex, Tate Donovan, are unfounded, although Jennifer says she was scared of meeting Sandy, which she did at a wedding of one of their mutual friends. They sent each other flowers to apologize for "hurting each other", and apparently they get on fine.
