The Prisoner

The Prisoner is one of the greatest cult TV shows of all time, starring Patrick McGoohan as "No. 6", a secret agent who is trapped in a mysterious place known as The Village after he resigns. It was filmed in Portmeirion, (a North Wales village designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis) in 1967. Portmeirion is much smaller than The Village, even the buildings are much smaller, as all the interior shots were in a studio.
