The Man Who Wasn't There (2001)

OK, OK, so I realise I've left writing this review a little late (over two years after seeing the movie, to be precise). The reason that I'm persisting, even though I've forgotten much of the plot (old age eh?) is that some of the performances still resonate with me today. Scarlett Johansson demonstrates her formidable talent while James Gandolfini is mesmerising. I'm a longtime fan of the Coen brothers, and this is one of their finest efforts, superbly shot in black and white.
